Legend announce release of innovative software module Active Outcomes
19 Nov 2018 . BY Dean Fox
Legend MD, Sean Maguire
Legend Club Management Systems is pleased to announce the release of Active Outcomes, its latest innovative software module, designed to enhance its single platform Leisure Management Software offering, and its clients’ ability to serve their communities.

Active Outcomes will allow leisure providers to track patients referred by healthcare professionals and quantify the health benefits they are receiving. The provision of such data will mean that providers can evidence submissions for funding grants, allowing them to open out health management programmes to reach even more of the population with their services.

Active Outcomes made its debut at the Legend Customer Conference on October 18th 2018. The module has been developed with assistance from a number of Legend’s customers and, with their help, Legend is aiming to pilot the system in January 2019.

Legend MD, Sean Maguire, stated:

“At Legend we invest over 35% of turnover back into collaborative research and development. Active Outcomes is the result of our latest drive for innovation and our desire to supply our customers with a system which will both enhance their business and empower their members. It is also a product of our wider engagement with key industry stakeholders such as Sport England.”

Juanita Prescott, Corporate Health and Wellbeing Manager for SLL, stated:

“For over 20 years SLL has provided exercise on referral, reaching thousands of people who have benefitted from the scheme. Our scheme provides exercise under the guidance and supervision of qualified instructors to people who wouldn’t perhaps be able to exercise normally. Unfortunately, we don’t receive any funding and one of the reasons for that is that there is no evidence to show that the exercise on referral is so beneficial to people. I think what Legend is doing, will enable us to quantify the benefit of our scheme and give us the evidence required, and hopefully, it will lead to funding being available.”

Legend is thrilled to bring this exciting new module to market, to help the industry track and quantify health benefits seen by referred members, increase providers’ ability to interact with healthcare professionals, secure much-needed government funding and ensure that we can reach others who desperately need our support and guidance.
